I don’t know about you, but our family loves “breakfast for dinner” night. 🙂
Last weekend, while Mike was away with his friends, the kids and I decided to have pancakes. I thought it might be fun to let them design their own, in what we’re calling “pancake art”.
I had an old ketchup squeeze bottle, so I just snipped the tip off a little more, to make the opening larger. This worked great!
I gave the kids artistic freedom, which resulted in some…interesting designs. 😉
They learned the hard way that you have to make your lines thick, or else the pancakes are flimsy and hard to flip. We only had one casualty, when Sicily’s “girl” lost a lock of hair.
So, if you’re looking for a fun way to get your kids cooking in the kitchen (or something fun to do during these snow days that we’re having!), you might give pancake art a try. 🙂
