November was a busy month for us. A few weeks ago, I posted about our trip to Jacksonville. Here are a few more adventures from November…
I LOVE this time of year!
We began November with a wonderful visit from my dad and Ruth, and my brother, Dave. We celebrated Thanksgiving early, then decorated for Christmas. (Thanks, Ruth. My house would not be this beautiful without you!).
And Woody was beyond excited to have two new friends to play with. After they left for home, Woody moped around for three days!
So, naturally, we needed to find Woody a playmate. 😛 We rescued this little guy in November, and it’s like he was meant to be in this family. His name is Barnabas Clyde (but we call him Barney) and we love him! He and Woody have become best buds. We are currently working on training Barney, but he has made leaps and bounds since we first got him.
We “enjoyed” an ice storm in November. (Are you sensing my sarcasm?). While I must admit that it was beautiful outside, it was still a nuisance. Everything was coated in ice.
My girls had a choir concert. I just can’t believe how much they have grown up. One will be graduating 8th grade in a few months!
I helped out at the Christmas Open House here in town. The Moundridge Lions Club set up a booth, where they were providing free vision screenings. It was great meeting new people, and working with the United Way of McPherson County.
Christmas is NINE DAYS away, but I am sooo ready! Happy holidays to you all! 🎄
