1. I just realized that I’m the middle child about two years ago.
2. I am deathly afraid of spiders. And wasps.
3. Horses freak me out.
4. My childhood nickname was “Teetle”. (My mom yelled this across the schoolyard once, to get my attention. I was mortified).
5. I thoroughly enjoy scaring my kids.
6. I am addicted to Google. And beauty products. And ice cream.
7. My background is (mostly) Irish, Mexican and Italian.
8. I am a grammar Nazi.
9. My dream job would be food photographer.
10. In most of my blog photos I am wearing contacts, but I actually wear glasses most of the time.
11. I was born in Japan.
12. When I was a kid, my dream job was to be a singer.
13. I am almost always running late.
14. When I was in kindergarten, my brother and I set my bed on fire with matches.
15. I also set our kitchen trash can on fire with a sparkler firework.

Weekend Fun

On Saturday we went for our usual coffee date with friends.

We didn’t realize that the annual Newton Car Show was going on.

How Long Does It Take To Kill A Garden?

Every year I play the “How long will it take to kill this garden?” game. Not because I want to kill it, but because I most certainly do not have a green thumb!

But I plant a container garden anyway. Because it’s fun and it makes me feel productive. And I’m less likely to kill plants in containers…? 😉

Why I Created This Random Blog

This is my creative outlet. My random thoughts. My random, crazy, blessed life.

I honestly just love writing. I always have. This is a fun way for me to express myself (which is not always easy).

I love that I can write about our random life adventures and share these stories with family and friends. My family is currently scattered from coast to coast, so this is a great way to keep in touch and let everyone know what we’ve been up to.
